Johann Philip Luke left the western part of Germany in 1709 and arrived in New York harbor in 1710. Philip Luke and his family would eventually settle in the West Manor of Rensselaerwyck located in present day Albany County, New York. Heirs of Philip Luke still reside in Albany County and throughout the United States and Canada. This is an original study, done from scratch with source information.
